For anyone else here that have used other stats programs such as AWStats, you probably noticed that your statistics with SmarterStats are grossly inflated. That's because unlike other major packages out there, they don't try to make any distinction between non-human traffic like search bots and real people. That might make it better for bragging rights, but for us and our advertisers, it's worthless. Customers on their forums have been complaining about this for several years now and they've finally fixed it in their next version. They mentioned that more information will be announced soon and a beta will be out in the nearly future.
