Does anybody know of any good FREE FTP programs that feature multithreading and transfer queues (ex. smartFTP)?

SmartFTP is free for non-commercial use.  That was going to be my suggestion.  Otherwise check www.download.com, I'm sure there some freebies there.  Not sure if it will have all the features you want.

 thanks for the reply. i'm aware of smartFTP, but i am wondering if anybody has used anything other than smartFTP, that also fits my description. if i can get a recommendation, it would be great--would save me a lifetime looking through megasites like download.com.

I used to use CuteFTP, but it's not free (never was).  I also use Beyond Compare for file/folder comparison and synchronization (www.scootersoftware.com), but again, not free.

My good friend Google found this as a free multi-threaded FTP client, but I've never used it:  http://www.cutedownloader.com/

Look no further--FileZilla is where it's at...it has queueing, multithreading, and is (drumroll) free! it's under the GNU GPL

Does it have multithreading and queueing, like filezilla does? If not, i'd even suggest to you that you switch to filezilla.
